About the Class

Ready to dive deeper into acting?! Our acting classes are great for beginners or if you have already been on stage and want to dig deeper into character building and scenework! Learn new acting exercises and techniques while working on scenes with your peers.

Broadway Dance

Ages 9 - 11 & 12 - 18

About the Class

Come dance along with your fellow ICDT! peers in our beginner/intermediate dance class! Learn basic dance terminology and skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Each week you will learn new choreography, work on the foundations of dance, and get to experience the joy of storytelling through movement. Broadway dance covers a variety of styles from jazz to tap, ballet to musical theatre, and more!

About the Class

Come learn the importance of an ensemble as we work together on musical numbers from popular shows like High School Musical, Grease, Hairspray, and more! With a focus on singing, this class will grow your vocal confidence through working on large group musical numbers. You will also learn movement to songs, and have opportunities for solos, duets, and trios!

About the Class

This is an energetic class that teaches acting through improv! Improvisation is spontaneous performance without specific or scripted preparation and will strengthen your skills of thinking on your feet and allow you to respond to new ideas and themes with joy and curiousity.

About the Class

*Children must be potty trained to attend* Families, drop off your young movers and shakers! This class is the perfect introduction to all things music, theatre, and the arts. In this class we'll discover ways our bodies can move in response to the music. Exciting musical games, rhythm work, and storytelling will be featured to help your kiddos develop creativity, listening skills, coordination, and more! We'll explore stretching, yoga, focused breathing, and musicals too!

This is an exciting and comprehensive class designed to nurture the musical talents of young performers who aspire to become well-rounded musical theater artists. This class is ideal for aspiring actors, singers, and instrumentalists who have a passion for musical theater and want to develop their musicianship skills. In this class we will cover the basics of music theory, ear training, sheet music, stylistic techniques, and more! Musicianship is not just about learning music; it's about empowering young performers in a supportive and enriching environment.

Technical Theatre

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the exciting world of technical theatre! Gain an understanding of the various departments within a theatrical production such as sound, lighting, and set. Enjoy opportunities for hands-on experience outside of class to grow your skills. This class is not only great for beginners, but those who want to delve deeper into the world of technical theatre!

Teen Broadway Showcase

Ages 12 - 18

About the Class

This performance based class focuses on collaboration to create our own Musical Theatre Revue. Every class will involve basic dancing, singing, and acting training as material is learned. We will also be touching on all aspects of putting our own show together from props to costumes, choreography and directing, and even script writing! The class culminates in an open showcase to share with friends and family at the end of the session.
The final performance in Studio A at the PAC will be Thursday, May 23rd at 7:30pm!

Teen Spring Play: Our Town

Ages 12 - 18

About the Class

Play will be announced soon! Participating in the play will sharpen your acting skills and make you confident in taking on any role! Auditions will take place within class time, and the play will be cast, staged, rehearsed, and performed at the Center at the end of the session.
Final Performance: Saturday, May 18th at 2PM
